By my reckoning, about three software has already been released for qsat in the past three months. To make matter worse, qsat is complaining about dst* attack as if they are the only one being attacked. They said they are having attacks from dst* because we upload it to websites. You will see Area has another country selected and its not your country. Thats why you still didnt get to see your channels.

Under area I choose Tanzania. Because this is where my Simcard is registered. Operator select the operator you are using. By this I mean the sim card in your Decoder. Mine is Vodacom. Then finally go to Auto Link and check it. You should see a red tick in the little square box.

Then again hit the blue button on your remote to scan for network. After this you will see Ip address and subnet mask filling automatically. Then you will see network connection success. After factory reset channels get deleted by default. After searching your channels.you need to fix your network settings. Remember to use the best network provider simcard. This tutorial isnt on how to upgrade, its about what happens after you upgrade. There is a small hitch that happens into the decoders after upgrade. All that people have to do is upgrade, reset to factory settings, load back channels and set network settings to get back to normal.

While i commend ur efforts Lemmy, i still wanna make an observation. Is it possible for comments made here to be posted on real time basis?

Cos i just realized dat comments i made since 4pm saturday march 1st(wen chelsea was playing), was yet to be posted as at d time of typing dis which was 8pm same day. It makes it difficult for one to give a real time situation of tinz pertaining our dear qsat. As at d time of typing dis(stated above as nigerian time), qsat q13g was totally down again.

Anyone with similar occurrence? Quite amazing how this guy responds even to questions not necessary, or already answered. I duff my hat for people in power(govt) pls make una dey pray for them for good direction and understanding because its really not easy I think Lemmy is a student, i just wonder how he copes with all these questions and responses I really wish it could be scripted. Lemmy, I as a satellite enthusiast sisnce 1996, I always give good advice to friends in this business to tell customers the truth about products cos some are ignorant, vulnerable and don’t always listen. It also give you dealers rest of mind, when u don’t have to be dealing with negative Complaints all the time. See Qsat owners made a huge mistake in failing to do. Proper research and feasibility before coming as a paytv descrambler.

They kept on selling products without thinking of congestion or server overload. Even as we speak, latest qsat’s codes starts from 4000*******, meaning all the 5********** account may have been sold around the world. Now they’re having serious issues and still selling, with people still buying. This is an error. I heard from a reliable source that qsat will only achieve the kind of stability A+ and Az has after about 6-7 months from now.

I.e around September, hence the off and on will continue. Serial Dil Dosti Dance here. No amount of Software upgrade will bring about stability like that of az or a+. So be wise and choose rightly. Even if qsat tells you to upgrade to v7 or v9, nothing will happen.
